President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich took part in a Pentecost liturgy, held at the Holy Assumption Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The liturgy was conducted by Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Vladimir. Pentecost is one of the prominent feasts in the Christian liturgical year commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Christ after the Resurrection.
