Valeriy Ivasyuk and Andrey Fedur

The member of the Verkhovna Rada temporary panel on the journalist Georgiy Gongadze's disappearance, expert Valeriy Ivasyuk and the attorney of Lesya Gongadze's (Georgiy's mother) Andrey Fedur at the Kiev airport after arriving from England, where in February Ivasyuk got a political refuge, on Wednesday July 4, 2001 in Kiev. Ivasyuk got a political refuge in the Great Britain because of the Ukrinian security service threatening for him as for the expert on Gongadze's disappearance case. According to Ivasyuk he is under the British protection even in Ukraine. According to SBU spokesman service, Ivasyuk was invited to SBU in January as former (1994-1998) Head of the National AIDC Committee for give his explanations on the matter of questionable $3 m.
