Sorochinskaya Fair opening

The fair participant, worn in national costumes, starts the procession on the day of Traditional Annual Sorochinskaya Fair opening, v. Velyki Sorochintsy, Poltavska Oblast (Thursday, August 19, 1999). The produce, put out by the enterprises of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Germany, USA, Norway, Vietnam, Greece and other countries, was presented on the fair. The fair occupies area of 3 hectares. The Sorochinskaya Fair has been conducted here since the second half of the XVII century.
