Aleksandr Detsyk

New General Director of the Ukrainian National News Agency "Ukrinform" Aleksandr Detsyk, in Kiev, on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Aleksandr Detsyk as a General Director of the Ukrainian National News Agency "Ukrinform", said press secretary of the Prime Minister Vitaliy Lukyanenko. He added the Government had begun an informational modernization project, so the agency faced new tasks. Besides, Vitaliy Lukyanenko thanked Viktor Chamara, the former General Director of "Ukrinform", on behalf of the Prime Minister. Aleksandr Detsyk is an experienced journalist with impressive working background. He thanked the Government for the trust and expressed his hopes for fruitful collaboration with the personnel.
