Igor Zavadskiy

Honoured Artist of Ukraine Igor Zavadskiy with awards he got for the win at the 40th International Contest-Festival of Accordionists, which took place in April in Navan (Ireland), in Kiev, April 28, 2011. It was the first time in 40 years when a representative from Ukraine took part in this contest. Among 400 participants Zavadskiy was the best in all four categories: classical music, pop music, music written for accordion and the artists-laureates of the international contests. Therefore, Zavadskiy has got 2 “Golden Lyre” awards, and now he is the only accordionist in Ukraine who has 3 “Golden Lyre” awards. Photo by Aleksandr Sinitsa / UNIAN
