After the conference Azarov said that the building of Podol bridge in Kiev is planned to be finished till 2013. On October 23, 2010 a first stage of the Podol bridgework was brought into operation. The traffic was opened on Naberezhno-Kreschatitskaya overpass and Gavanskiy bridge in both directions. The second stage of the Podol bridgework – from Naberezhno-Kreschatitskaya street to Vatutin avenue – is planned to be brought into operation in the first half year of 2012; the object is planned to be finished in 2013.
