EPIC managing partner informed that the buyer of Ukrtelekom, the Austrian concern EPIC, hopes to close the acquisition of 92,79% government’s stake of Ukrtelekom open joint-stock company till May 11. He also said that Ukrtelekom shareholder meeting is expected at the end of May. There will be elected a Management Board and a Supervisory Board of the enterprise. After that a business plan and a plan of Ukrtelekom development will be adopted. The actual Chairman of the Management Board will remain at his post after the passing of title. The managing partner said that the company will review the financing policy of subsidiary services that Ukrtelekom provided as a state enterprise. He also noted that a partnership with one of the Ukrainian investors is possible in future. On March 11, 2011, State Property Fund signed an agreement of sale and purchase of 92,79% of government’s stake of Ukrtelekom with ESU ltd, an allied company of Austrian concern EPIC.
