Hailstones

Hailstones, having size of matches box in village of Brusilov (Zhitomirska oblast) which a day before occurred in epicenter of heavy rain and hail on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 On June 11 Zhitomirska, Kyivska and Khmelnitska oblasts suffered from heavy rains with hail and waterspout. According to the Emergency Ministry, on June 11 heavy rains with hail ( size of separate hailstones made up 50 millimeters) and waterspouts caused damage of 74 power and communication lines, 53 settlement have no power supply, 5 persons traumatized (one seriously), 440 houses roofs are destroyed.
