Yuliya Timoshenko, Andrey Kozhemyakin and Andrey Shkil
BYUT-Batkivshchyna Party Leader Yuliya Timoshenko, and people's deputies of Ukraine Andrey Kozhemyakin, right, and Andrey Shkil before the briefing in Kiev, on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Yulia Timoshenko believes the results of the president’s team’s work for 2010 only demonstrate their consumerist attitude to Ukraine’s state resources. "This means that the president considers the country a resource that his encourage can profit from," she said. Yulia Timoshenko is convinced the current government’s political course could lead to the country’s total socio-economic collapse. "After a year in office, President of Ukraine was able to implement only a third of his plans. And if only a third of their plans caused people’s lives to become so difficult and unpredictable, what will happen when they fulfill the remaining two-thirds," she said. "As far as I understand, a third for them means Ukrtelecom, RosUkrEnergo, energy companies and land that they have already distributed amongst themselves. For them this includes the 60% kickbacks from the construction of Euro-2012 facilities. For them this is all the financial resources they will acquire through the National Bank. For them this is all a third," she added. Photo by Aleksandr Prokopenko / POOL / UNIAN
