Participants of the press-conference reported that in Ukraine there was an innovative method of examination of the human body by means of ELI-tests, to diagnose disease before clinical symptoms. Aleksander Poletaev thinks that if a doctor can foresee that a given patient has an infarct to come in 5 years, and another patient may have diabetes in 3 years, then he can prescribe measures to evade the threat. So a patient under constant control is sure to have extra 8-15 years of active life. It might be enough to change the way of living, to keep to a diet, to do physical exercises at the fore-disease stage to bring all characteristics to standard. So, the disease will be forced to retreat. The Poletaev s method can be used in cardiology, rheumatology, vascular and neurosurgery, endocrinology, and neuropathology.
