Aleksandr Kuzmuk
The UNIAN Archive. Minister of Defense Aleksandr Kuzmuk. On May 29, 2001 President of Ukraine appointed Alexander Kuzmuk for the Defense Minister. Kuzmuk was born on April 17, 1954 in the village of Dyatilivka, Slavutskyi region, Khmelnitska oblast. Education - Kharkiv’s Guards Higher Tank Command College (1975), Military Academy of armored troops (1983), National Academy of Defense. Worked in military sphere. 1995-1996 Commander of the National Guards of Ukraine. Since July 11 of 1996 Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
