On the occasion of the Day to Honor Ukrainian Soldiers-Participants of Military Operations Abroad, President of Ukraine laid flowers at the Kharkiv Memorial to Those Lost in Afghanistan. The President has honored the memory of the fallen soldiers by observing a minute of silence. After the ceremony, President of Ukraine has visited the Temple of the Mother of God Icon Vzyskaniye pohibshyh, where he lit a candle. The event was attended by representatives of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, local authorities, Afghan veterans, mothers of soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
