Taras Chornovil
Ukrainian People’s Deputy Taras Chornovil during the XI National Rukh of Ukraine (NRU) Congress on Saturday, May 5, 2001. On the Congress Chornovil declared that he leaves the party. The NRU Congress take place in Kyiv on May 5-6. On May 5 Gennadyi Udovenko was elected for the leader of the party. Taras Chornovil, whose candidature was also nominated for this post, declined it on the same day before the voting.
