Dmitry Onishchenko

Dmitry Onishchenko owner of the Golden Medal and first Prize of the IV Vladimir Horobets International Contest of the young pianists during the final concert on Friday, on May 4, 2001. The IV International Contest of young pianists consists of three rounds and lasted from April 18 till May 3. Before the final concert the jury chairman Ivan Karabits declared the names of 15 contest winners, who competed in the two age groups. The golden medals and first premier laureates diplomas got: in middle age group - Dmitry Onishchenko (Ukraine), in elder one - Maria Kim (Ukraine ). According to Mr. Karbits , in the nearest future the book about life-time and activity of Vladimir Horobets, prepared by one of the contests organizer will be published.
