The fifth annual international art fair "ART-KYIV contemporary 2010", in Kiev, on Monday, November 8, 2010. Annual international contemporary art fair ART-KYIV contemporary is one of the most outstanding events at the Ukrainian art stage. The forum unites famous artists, art-critics, theorists, gallerists, curators and collectors and provides a wide perspective of the latest tendencies of contemporary world art. Though ART-KYIV contemporary is a relatively young project it arouses interest as a progressive event that supports the Ukrainian art-market reputation. The total sales volume of art works reached up to $ 8 million, the organizers of art fair announce. Being an open contextual field for active international cooperation ART-KYIV contemporary upgrades the quality of Ukrainian art process. Annually the fair becomes better not only as a commercial event.
