Monument to Taras Shchevchenko

Put into chains monument to Taras Shchevchenko in the downtown Lviv on Thursday, April 12, 2001. This day in the framework of project "It's not freedom yet..." journalist joined monuments to Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko and Markiyan Shashkevich by blue thread . The chains on Kobzar’s (folk singer and poet) hands should remind everything , that expected Taras Shvchenko in the century before last for free word. The project "It is not freedom yet» is the first in Ukraine attempt to attract attention to the problem of freedom of speech.
