The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to Article 212 of the Family Code of Ukraine (regarding adoption)”. 340 out of 408 people's deputies registered in the session hall, voted for the decision. Legislative act (N. 4313 of 13.07.2010) provides amendments to two paragraphs of Article 212, which limits the adoption by foreigners, citizens of those states which have not signed bilateral intergovernmental agreements on cooperation regarding adoption. Separately adoption of children from Ukraine by persons without citizenship is limited.
