Buckles and belt protected against rape during the ”Creative women. Inventions and innovations from Sweden” exhibition, in Lvov, on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. “Creative Women" exhibits inventions by Swedish women and includes both world-renowned, patented inventions and less well-known products that solve practical problems. The National Museum of Science and Technology's exhibition “The Inventions of Women", produced in 2006, attracted much attention and is now on tour abroad as “Creative Women". It will be on show in Belarus and Ukraine. Its aims are: to promote entrepreneurship, among women in particular, and stimulate women' s and girls' interest in science and technology. It is also part of the Swedish Institute's initiatives to promote democracy in these regions. Photo by UNIAN
