Monument of Sergey Bubka
The monument dedicated tо the sport achievements of Sergey Bubka, the remarkable sportsman, is opened in Donetsk on August 27, 1999. Sergey Bubka, a man of 36 was trice acknowledged as the best sportsman of the World. He had established 35 world records and raised the bar of pole vault records from 5,81 till 6,15cm during the 1984-1993yy. Now Bubka works as the president of the Bubka Sport club.
