Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the Batkivshchyna Party, is urging members of the Kyiv and Lviv regional party offices to end their hunger strike outside the Central Election Commission in protest of the falsification of upcoming local elections. Yulia Tymoshenko said that the party would provide the protesters with medical care. Yulia Tymoshenko also said that immediately after the start of the hunger strike, a fall market called "Harvest Festival" was organized near the CEC on orders from President of Ukraine. Yulia Tymoshenko thanked the Batkivshchyna activists and their families for their active opposition to the government’s actions.
