Head of Observant council StarLightMedia, Founder of the ANTIAIDS Foundation Elena Pinchuk (Franchuk) and head of Administration of President of Ukraine Sergey Levochkin during 7th Yalta annual meeting “Ukraine and world: reconsideration of perspectives”, in Yalta (Crimea), on Friday, October 1, 2010. “Ukraine has no alternative to European choice but so long as the European Union is not even ready to discuss a membership of Ukraine, we will choose tempos by ourselves. We will choose forms and methods of integration in accordance with our national interests. An integration should stimulate development of the national economy, be beneficial to business and citizens – these are key positions”, said the head of the state. Viktor Yanukovych underlined that at the same time Ukraine will not abandon the policy of active cooperation with other international political-economic centers, among which he marked out Russia and the United States of America.
