The UNIAN Archive. Ukrainskaya Pravda Internet-edition editor Georgy Gongadze takes part in the action of independent journalists "Wave of Freedom" against the pressure on press in Kyiv on May 4, 2000. On Thursday, March 20, 2001 People's Deputy Sergey Holovatyi proclaimed during the press-conference in the UNIAN agency results of examination, carried out in Germany, according to which, the Tarashcha's body is not that of Gongadze's. According to him, when examining blood of Gongadze's mother's Lesya, example of dry blood on the journalist's medical card and example of putrid tissue, passed by Elena Prytula, the experts managed to extract the DNA off the all presented materials. The experts concluded that Lesya's blood and dry blood on medical card contain identical DNA. At the same time experts declared that the putrid organs, used in testing and dry example of blood did not belong to the same person. A body, found in Tarashcha could not be Lesya Gongadze's child.
