Singapore Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew has started his two-day official visit to Kiev. Lee Kuan Yew stressed that the Ukrainian nation is very educated, so it is necessary to use this intellectual potential. According to him, the Government of Ukraine is to create conditions for national experts who would stimulate them to continue this work in its country and not go abroad or remain there after training. Lee Kuan Yew said that Singapore at its time lost a lot of specialists who travelled to study in more developed countries, because there they were offered better conditions for living and development.
