Militia collaborators arrest the UNA-UNSO activists near their office in downtown Kyiv, Friday, March 9, 2001. This day, when Ukraine celebrated the 187th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birthday, the skirmish between opposition and militia collaborators took place. The action was carried out in the framework of scheduled anti-Presidential campaign. Protesters threw stones and bottles filled by fiery mixture to the militia collaborators, who applied to tear-gas.
