This day the party of regional revival "Labor Solidarity of Ukraine" confirmed its new name "Party of Regions" and elected its new leader Mr. Azarov, who will lead it "till the Party in 2004 elects leader-candidate for the President of Ukraine". The Party of regional revival "Labor Solidarity of Ukraine" was established in the course of merger of 5 parties - Party of regional revival of Ukraine, Labor Party, Party of Solidarity, Party for Beautiful Ukraine and All-Ukrainian Party of Pensioners.
