Winners of the Ukrainian Cup in adults karate

Winners of the Ukrainian Cup in adults karate competition left-right: Andrey Chabanov, Aleksey Nerushev, Umud Fatulaev and Alexander Chesnokov of the Donetsk's team FKU-1 (Ukrainian Karate Federation joint team) on ceremony of rewarding in Donetsk, on Sunday, February 18, 2001. On February 17-18 the Ukrainian Cup's Karate Tournament took place in Donetsk. All existing in Ukraine federations took part in the tournament. 243 athletes from 93 karate teams, which arrived from 11 Ukrainian regions took part in the competitions. The second place got the Kyiv's team "JKA WF - Ukraine", the third one - "Lorin Club" from Donetsk. In junior the Dnepropetrovsk's ASHKU team won the tournament. Photo by Alexander Ilyichenko/ UNIAN
