Cup of Ukraine in karate

Advantage in height and weight did not help Osmukha and Marchenko won the single combat, which was marked by referees as one of the brightest in the competitions. On February 17-18 the Ukrainian Cup's Karate Tournament took place in Donetsk. All existing in Ukraine federations took part in the tournament. 243 athletes from 93 karate teams, which arrived from 11 Ukrainian regions took part in the competitions. The second place got the Kyiv's team "JKA WF - Ukraine", the third one - "Lorin Club" from Donetsk. In junior the Dnepropetrovsk's ASHKU team won the tournament. Photo by Alexander Ilyichenko/ UNIAN
