Ukrainian Navy Day

Admiral Vladimir Komoedov, the Commander-in-chief of the Black Sea Fleet accepts the reward of the President of Ukraine: the nominal weapon - pistol Walter P-38 for the contribution made into the millitary collaboration between Russia and Ukraine on the board a "Getman Sagaydachny" frigate, during the celebration of the Ukrainian Navy's Holiday (Sunday, August 1, 1999). The flagship "Sagaydachny" put to sea-way, where the garlands were lowered on the places, where ships had been lost during the Second World War.
