A Sebastopol-dweller examines inflatable life raft, on which the people, who were on board the "Memory of Mercury" ship, saved themselves. They spent 2.5 days in the sea-way after the shipwreck on Sebastopol marine passenger terminal, on Monday, January 29, 2001. At 16.00 on Jan. 28 Ministry of Emergency of Ukraine got the information that the motor ship "Memory of Mercury, which left the Istanbul port (Turkey) on Jan 26 for Evpatoria port, did not reach the destination in time. 51 persons were on board a ship, including 20 passengers. In the course of the accident 14 persons died, 32 were found alive, 5 disappeared.
