Miroslava Gongadze, Alexander Emets and Victor Pinzenik

Journalist Georgyi Gongadze's wife - Miroslava (left), Ukrainian People's Deputy, member of the "Reforms and Order" Party Leadership Alexander Emets (center), the "Reforms and Order" Party Leader Victor Pinzenik (right) holding Georgyi Gongadze's children took part in the council, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Ukrainian National Rukh on Saturday, Sept. 11,k 1999 in Kyiv center. Alexander Emets died in the course of the car accident, which took place on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at 20.30 not far from village of Marievka, Apostolskyi region, Dnepropetrovska Oblast. According to the Ministry of Emergency, the driver of Mercedes, where Emets was sitting, did not manage driving and cut into tree. Driver and Emets were taken the local hospital where at 24.24 on Jan. 28 Emets died of the cranial trauma.
