The 500-kilowatt-voltage transformer

The 500-kilowatt-voltage transformer, put out by the Zaporizhzhian Transformer Plant is ready for the delivery in Turkmenistan, Zaporizhian Transformer Plant on Wednesday, January 24, 2001, in Zaporizhzhia. On these days the first of the three power transformers, foreseen by the agreement, sighed between the Zaporizhian Transformer Plant and Turkmenenergomashkomplekt, will be dispatched in November of 2000. The total cost of the agreement makes up 1.5 million. Two rest analogous transformers are planed to be built by May of 2001. According to the Company Neftegaz Ukraine, in December, 2000, Ukraine received 1 billion cubic meters of Turkmenian gas, and will receive as much in January of 2001. Ukraine will pay hard currency - for 40 % of gas and settle accounts by goods and investment projects - for 60%. 50% gas, which will be supplied in 2001 Ukraine will pay in hard currency, 50% - by goods and investing projects.
