Sergey Kovalenko
Crimean-dweller Sergey Kovalenko declares, that both new Internet site opening and show of his crashed car in front of the UNIAN agency are aimed to attract as much public attention as possible to the lawsuit in the UNIAN agency, Kyiv, Mond. Jan. 22, 2001. Ukrainian citizen, Crimean pensioner Sergey Kovalenko brought a suit for $70 million against Car Concern "VOLVO" and its official dealer in Ukraine "Viking Motors". He requires this sum as financial and moral indemnity for he, 33-year-old man, became an invalid in the course of the car accident. In March on 1998 Mr. Kovalenko purchased the VOlVO C70 Coupe car worth more than $60 thousands, which was advertised as one of the most safe cars within the last years. In the course of the traffic accident all the safety pillows failed to work and Mr. Kovalenko became an invalid.
