The UNIAN Archive The new editor of the paper "Vechirnyi Kiev" Vladimir Ruban. On Tuesday evening, December 26, 2000 the paper's staff elected Vladimir Ruban for the editor-in-chief. From1986 Mr. Ruban worked as a journalist in "Molod Ukrainy", "Radyanska Ukraina", personal correspondent of "Nezavisimaya Gazeta". Since 1993 - he is one of the cofounders and editor-in-chief of the UNIAN agency, in 1996-1997 - founder and editor-in-chief of the "Den" paper, in 1997-1998 editor-in-chief of "VV" (All-Ukrainian news).
