Writer Alla Serova, from Zaporizhia holds the prize in her hands during the ceremony of rewarding of the Novels and Film Scripts Contest "Word Coronation" on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 in Kyiv. In the film script genre Vasilyi Trubay (Obukhov, Kyivska oblast) won the first place for that script "A Hundred Thousands for Love". 1184 manuscripts of various authors from milkmaids and schoolchildren to professionals entered the contest, which continued from December 1999 till December 2000. The Contest is aimed to stimulate the development of the Ukrainian prose. The winners got money prizes in size of Hr18 thousands. Novel by Anna Serova "Rules of Game" is already launched in the press by the Kyiv's Publishing House "Maxaon".
