Draftees swear

Draftees swear in the security brigade of the Ukrainian Army General Headquarters in Kyiv, on Sunday, November 26, 2000. In the autumn of 2000 the Ukrainian Army had increased on 48 thousands of recruits. For present the Ukrainian Army numbers 310 servicemen. In 2005 its number will make up 295 thousands of servicemen. In 1991 the force, which remained in Ukraine of the USSR Army, made up 700 thousands of servicemen.
