Soccer. ”The Leathern ball” Cup

Football Team "Borodyanka" captain (Borodyanka, Kyevskaya oblast), recognized as the best goalkeeper of the Competitions. Alexander Yatsenko throws his team-friend up, happy at the victory of his team in the All-Ukrainian Tournament final for the Leather ball Cups' Cup (the elder group) in the International Children's Center "Artek" Stadium, in the Crimea, on Monday, October 23, 2000. The day before, on October 23 the All-Ukrainian Leather Ball Soccer Championship final games took place. This year some 300 thousands of children, amounting16 thousands of teams from all Ukrainian regionstook part in the Championship. The 24 teams-finalists (3 age groups) won the right to take part to visit Artek. According to famous soccer player Andrey Biba, these competitions have a great history. They appeared in 1965 and gained hearts of millions of children. Ukrainians as well.
