Khartsizskyi pipe plant

The ceremonial start of the production line of 914-1067 millimeters - diameter gas-main pipes covered by anticorrosive material on the Khartsizskyi pipe plant (Donetska Oblast) on Wednesday, October 4, 2000. These pipes were designed for the connection with the European pipeline and will considerably widen the market. The new design has only one longitudinal junction (the old ones had 2 longitudinal junctions and 1 cross junction of 6 meter-diameter) what makes them more durable. The length of pipes is 12 meters. The equipment for the new line was mainly put out by Krmatoeskyi plant NKMZ, the automated control system was assembled of the Siemens accessory. The capacity makes up 200 thousands of tons per year.
