On the same day 4 players of the Ukrainian Joint Team returned from Malta, where the Court removed an accusation in the hooliganizm on board a plane. On September 11, 2000 the "Air Malta" Company's plane, which headed for Budapest, Hungary made a forced landing in Rome, Italy. From there the Ukrainian team was sent back in the capital of Malta - Valetta. The crew declared that the team was to seize the fly because of the very risky behavior on a board of the Ukrainian Joint Team, who celebrated their victory in the World Championship in Malta.
