Historic "alarm bell"

Historic "alarm bell", which is kept on the territory of the State Museum - reserve Tavricheskyi, not far from ruins of the ancient Byzantine basilica, which is considered to be connected with the Ukraine-Russia Christening, in Sebastopol. On Saturday, August 12, 2000 the specially made tongue was fixed on the bell, the tongue was delivered by the participants of the sailing regatta "Sobor". The participants of the regatta consider, that the action "return of voice" to bell became the next symbol of revival of the Ukrainian State System. In connection with the fact that on August 12 morning, while conducting digging on the territory of the reserve Khersones air bomb FAP-250 (250 kg) was discovered, the regatta participants, consisting of leadership of Ukrainian People's Party "Sobor" and "Sobornist" Deputy Group members, were not allowed to enter the reserve and conduct the planned ceremony.
