The rock-groups "Status Quo"
Founders and leaders of one of the oldest English rock-groups "Status Quo" (got its name in 1967) left-right: Rick Parfitt, Francis Rossi and John Edwards open the IX International Festival "Tavriysky Igry", in Kakhovka, Khersonska Oblast, on Thursday, July 20, 2000. The Festival started on July 20 and will last till July 23. Famous Group "Status Quo", Alla Pugacheva, Zemfura, Lyapis Trubetskoy, Natalia Mogilevskaya, Alexander Ponomaryev and many other performers took part in the festival. The Invalids Competition, Contest "Queen of Ukraine" and Sailing Regatta were conducted in the framework of the festival. The Festival was carried out under the patronage of Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma. The festival traditionally took place outside and gathered more than 50 thousands of spectators.
