Portrait of Vladimir Romanyuk
A woman takes the candles and portrait of Ukrainian-Rus Patriarchy Vladimir from his temporal grave after the closure of the All -Ukrainian Veche (meeting) on that Sofievska square, Kyiv, on Tuesday, July 18, 2000. Veche was dedicated to the 5 Anniversary since burial of the Patriarchy. On July 18, 1995 the conflict between believers and Bercut (Militia) collaborators took place near his temporal grave. The believers required to bury patriarchy in the Sofievskyi Cathedral, while the City Authorities insisted on burial on the Kyiv's Cemetery Baykovo . Patriarchy's grave still lies in the temporal grave, at the Sofievskyi Cathedral's wall.
