Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and Prime Minister of Belarus Sergey Sidorsky during the meeting in Kyiv, on Friday, June 12, 2009. During the meeting Yu. Tymoshenko said Ukraine and Belarus have exceptional possibilities for stirring up trade relations. The Prime Minister said that this day Ukraine and Belarus will sign at intergovernmental level a range of agreements, including on free visa regime, on cooperation in space sphere and on deliveries of Byelorussian tires to Ukraine. In his turn S. Sidorsky said that the contract on deliveries of the Ukrainian electric power to Belarus, signed on May 14, 2009, between state concern “Belenergo” and “Ukrinterenergo” company comes into force from June 12, 2009. Prime Minister of Belarus also noted that Byelorussian side is interested in reaching arrangements on carrying out of transit of the Ukrainian electric power through the territory of Belarus.
