The political crisis caused by confrontation of Ukrainian Parliament, on the one hand, and the President and his Cabinet, on the other hand, continues in Ukraine. On January 10, 2006, the Parliament voted for dismissal of the Cabinet. On January 12, Ukraine’s Department of Justice declared Tuesday's parliamentary resolution illegitimate.
