Owner of judicial and patent company "Grishchenko and partners" Dmitriy Grishchenko during the press conference for foreign Ambassadors and consuls about violation of rights of investors in gambling sphere in Ukraine, in Kyiv, on Thursday, May 28, 2009. The aim of the press conference – is to inform home and world public about attitude towards to investors in Ukraine, about non-fulfillment by Ukraine its obligations, about absence of guarantees and rights of investors in Ukraine and non-compliance of licence agreements. Over 200 thousand people became jobless as a result of adoption and signing of the Law “On prohibition of gambling business in Ukraine” by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from May 15, 2009. According to the words of participants of the press conference, the situation touched upon not only interior market of Ukraine but also foreign investors, who invested into gambling business in Ukraine 200 million euro. State Target Program (EURO-2012) of preparation and carrying out of the Championship on Football’s final provides financing at UAH 159.98 billion , UAH 109.5 billion out of which are planned to be taken from investors.
