The fishers

The fishers of the Otto Yulievich Smidt fish-collective farm assort the catch on the shore of Kremenchuksky reservoir in Chernigivska oblast, 270km way from Kyiv (Friday, July 9, 1999). The hot weather, typical for this summer in Ukraine, promotes good catches: on July 9 fishers caught 15.6 tons of fish, while usually the catch makes up 4-7tons. But neither the collective farm, nor the majority of their constant clients has conditions for the fast processing and storage of the ample quantity of fish.
