The President of Ukraine took part in a solemn ascent on Chernechna mountain in Kanev within the frameworks of the measures dedicated to the 148th anniversary of reburial of ashes of Taras Shevchenko. Before the entrances on Mountain of Taras Shevchenko the President wreathed flowers to Monument of Glory and visited Uspenky Cathedral, where a coffin with ashes of Taras Shevchenko stood on May 20-22, 1861.
