A rose

A rose at the working place of lawmaker from the Party of Regions Oleksandr Savchuk in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in Kyiv, Wednesday, May 20, 2009. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a Law “On Introducing Amendments into Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Privatization of the State Property” (concerning regulating the order of dismissing the chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine). By these amendments the norm that “chairman of the SPFU is appointed for the post and is relieved of the post by the President of Ukraine with the consent of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine” is excluded. It is said in the explanatory note to the draft law that this norm contradicted to Constitution of Ukraine, because authorities of the parliament include appointing and dismissing the chairman of the SPFU after submission of the Prime Minister.
