President of Finland Tarja Halonen delivering a speech at the Ukrainian – Finnish business forum in Kyiv, on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Delivering a speech at the Finnish – Ukrainian business forum, the President of Ukraine called upon Finnish business to invest actively into Ukrainian economics. President of Ukraine noted that 66 companies with the Finnish investments work in Ukraine now. Sum total of annual investments of the Finnish business into the Ukrainian business makes up USA 17 million. In this way, according to the words of the President, rate of development of the bilateral economic relations is satisfactory but absolute showings are unsatisfactory. Taking this into account, he called upon representatives of the Finnish companies, presented at the business forum, to cooperate with Ukraine more actively.
