The UNIAN Archive. Sergey Georgievich Grishenko, the first deputy Minister on the Industrial Policy. At the present, according to Grishenko, he managers the Mikolaev-based Alumina Factory (MAF) on the instructions of the Minister V. Gureev. On Wednesday, July 7, 1999 the representatives of the Law-enforcement Bodies forced Meshin to leave the General Director's private office in order to let Grishenko occupy the position. Meshin was retired according to the resolution passed by the National Agency on the State Corporative Rights Management on June 24, 1999. The term, appointed for the Court Consideration of the Meshin's appeal about his removal, will be over by the July 9. According to Grishenko, within the next few days the general meeting of the shareholders will be carried out (According to the MAF regulations, the chairman of the company is elected on the general meeting, out of the company members - UNIAN).
