Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn at the observation deck of "Ukrytie" ("Shelter") object at the territory of the 4th energy unit of the Chernobyl NPP in Chernobyl, on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine paid a working visit to the Chernobyl zone this day. He took part in the wreath-laying ceremony to the monuments of perished workers of the Chernobyl NPP, got acquainted with building process of the plants on processing of radioactive effluent and completion building condition of industrial complex on processing of solid radioactive waste.
